Hadron SCIF
Bringing classified-level security to the everyday workplace
Overview
Hadron is an AI-powered physical security platform that brings SCIF-grade confidentiality to regular organisations. The Hadron team installs all required shielding, acoustic and sensing equipment directly into existing workspaces, then continuously monitors facility integrity through a unified interface across mobile, tablet and wall display, tracking RF signals, audio masking zones, access points, environmental conditions, power and agent health in real time.
We partnered with Hadron to define their visual and application identity from the ground up: a brand built around operational clarity, immediate threat recognition and zero ambiguity under pressure.

What we did
Challenge
SCIF-grade security has traditionally required dedicated facilities such as bunkers or reinforced containers, equipped with purpose-built hardware consoles with no coherent design language and no mobile access. Operators work under pressure in high-stakes environments where misreading a status or missing an alert has serious consequences. The challenge was to design a system that communicates complex, multi-layered facility data with absolute clarity, where the difference between nominal, degraded and critical states is instantly readable at a glance.
Solution
A full brand identity and cross-platform application designed from the ground up around operational clarity. The visual identity uses Signal Orange as its primary colour, a deliberate choice that carries inherent urgency without explanation. The application establishes a strict three-tier severity system, green for nominal, amber for degraded, orange for critical, applied consistently across every element of the interface.
The mobile app surfaces critical information first, with a persistent agent timeline and a controller agent log showing the AI reasoning in plain language. The tablet layout promotes the agent pane to a full-height sidebar, with a structured card grid presenting the complete facility picture without scrolling. Navigation is unified across both breakpoints, with a Query interface providing direct natural-language access to the AI agent layer that controls the entire system.
